Pattern Making

At Inkitex, we approach the pattern-making process not merely as a technical necessity, but as a creative space where your design vision takes shape. This is because the silhouette is the very first element that defines the character of a garment—long before fabric, color, or logo selection.

With this perspective, our integrated pattern department offers you a flexible working model through two different methods, depending on the stage of your collection.

1. Perfect Fit Based on Your Technical Pack

If you have a detailed Technical Pack—especially one that includes a comprehensive size chart—our pattern specialists carry out the entire process based strictly on this data. The measurements, proportions, and drawings you provide are translated into production patterns with full accuracy.

As a result, both the sample and the subsequent bulk production match exactly the measurements, volume, drape, and stance you designed. Size grading from XS to XXL is applied meticulously in line with technical requirements.

2. Flexible Customization Based on Ready Base Patterns

If you do not yet have a defined size chart, the process is still designed to be easy and flexible for you. In this case, we use our proven base patterns as a starting point, such as:

  • Oversized T-shirt
  • Boxy hoodie
  • Slim-fit polo

We then fully reshape these patterns according to your design. At Inkitex, we are not a mass-production brand but a custom manufacturer; therefore, no detail is fixed.

If required, we can redesign the entire garment structure from scratch:

  • Silhouette
  • Panel distribution
  • Collar shape
  • Cutting details
  • Size-to-size proportions

All elements can be reconfigured to best reflect your brand’s unique style.

Stitching Style and Finishing Processes

The true quality of a garment is revealed not only through the texture of the fabric used, but also through the precision of the stitching, the way components are assembled, and the professionalism of the finishing details. At Inkitex, we treat stitching as the “architecture” of a garment—because well-designed stitching directly affects both durability and aesthetic appeal.

For this reason, we carry out detail-oriented production at every stage of your projects, offering unlimited customization options and full compliance with your Technical Packs.

Technical & Aesthetic Stitching Applications

Each garment requires a different stitching approach depending on its function. Sportswear, workwear, denim, or premium casual products—all are evaluated individually. Stitching techniques, thread thickness, and stitch density are planned accordingly.

Topstitching – Where Function Meets Design

Topstitching is a detail that enhances durability while adding character to the garment.

  • Single-, double-, or triple-needle topstitching options
  • Applicable to collars, armholes, pockets, shoulders, and more
  • Fully customizable stitch width: from 1 mm to 10 mm
  • Unlimited color options: tone-on-tone for a subtle look or contrasting colors for strong visual accents

Bartack Reinforcement Stitches

These short, dense stitches are used to reinforce high-stress areas and are essential for:

  • Pocket ends
  • Belt loops
  • Slit openings
  • Zipper ends

They can be integrated discreetly or highlighted with colored threads for a modern touch.

Special Stitching Techniques

Depending on the garment’s function, we apply various stitching methods:

  • Overlock stitching: Clean edges for jersey fabrics
  • Flatlock stitching: Reduces friction in sportswear
  • French seams: Creates a flawless interior finish for premium shirts and blouses
  • Chain stitching: A classic look for vintage and denim garments

Finishing Details: Beyond Standards

The element that truly “completes” a garment is the finishing process. At Inkitex, instead of adhering to standard solutions, we customize finishing details to align perfectly with your brand identity.

Side Slits and Ventilation Details

For polo shirts, T-shirts, tunics, or outerwear models, we can apply:

  • Straight, short side slits
  • Reinforced slits with inner twill tape
  • Drop-tail cuts with a longer back hem

Sleeve Cuffs and Hem Finishes

Every detail is shaped according to your preferences:

  • Classic rib cuffs
  • Clean double-stitched finishes
  • Raw-cut modern effects
  • Elastic drawcord, buttoned, or adjustable cuff options

Collar and Placket Solutions

The form of the button placket or collar finish can be fully customized:

  • Hidden or visible plackets
  • Reinforced placket structures
  • Custom collar tapes and clean inner seams
  • Double-layer or ribbed options for polo collars

Every detail defines both the garment’s lifespan and its visual impact. Our goal is to deliver a fully personalized result that is both durable and a true reflection of your brand’s identity.
